Of course I am God's judge. I am not going to have my goodness bribed by the sop of eternal life. There is only one reason that you can defend these horrible and detestable acts of evil--over and over and over again: And that is the carrot of eternal life, and the stick of eternal torture. If the sop of eternal life was not in this ugly creed, you would not for one second be justifying all these acts of infanticide, etc. If your creed ended in the belief that people simply DIED, you would not not NOT, for a second, defend these horrors. You are doing it only because you will do ANYTHING--I repeat...ANYTHING--to purchase eternity for yourself. Now, if I am wrong, then please tell me one thing that you would not do--if this was what you were told (and believed) would buy you eternity with your mighty God.

Do you get my point? Do you get the point of this thread??

You call the dead children "punks." Do you know any more about them than that they were teases? Were they characterized in the Bible as having done anything bad except the teasing that got God mad? Killing-mad.

Is it discussed whether their grieving families were also deserving of terrible suffering? Or is that assumed to be immaterial?

If you had a child who teased a neighbor and the neighbor released his pet bear (or pit bull) to kill your child, that would be God's will, presumably. Right? Would you be so sanguine about it? Call your own child a "punk"?

EDIT: I've surfed on, and see I'm plowing thoroughly plowed land. Sorry for the repetitiveness, all.
