Thanks, Mason. It kind of reminds me of Alcee Hastings, one of Gore's most public supporters. Hastings is one of the few people in history ever to lose a seat on a federal bench, due to bribery and corruption. I was surprised when Hastings was elected to Congress, I must admit.

Maybe the next Justice Department will be more aggressive about prosecuting political corruption, and spend less time on marginal activities like the Branch Davidians. We can only hope.
