Over the weekend I had C-Span on quite a bit. When the court recessed, part of he coverage included viewer calls from 3 lines: Bush voters, 2 Gore Voters 3) non-voters / other. The Bush and Gore lines all tended to line up behind their candidate. The vast majority of the "other" line was
almost 100% anti-Gore.
To me this is very telling in that the partisans will usually support their candidate. The Democrats are alienating many in the middle. Just my opinion.
