PK: The breakdown on Big Business political spending is about 60% GOP and 40% Democratic. I posted these numbers a couple months ago. Yes, your assessment that Dems get more money from Big Business than they do from Labor might well be correct.

My beef is twofold: (1) That Big Business merrily donates without a peep from Republicans, who in turn howl like banshees over contributions from organized labor; (2) that Big Business is pouring so much money into all candidates' campaigns, thereby unduly influencing the agenda of the American people as voted by their representatives in Congress. I am one of those that believes what is good for GM is NOT necessarily good for America.

McCain is right on campaign finance reform.
