retail dot coms...I own one....the rate of return is goin up exponentially...sales are doubling every month....that has to level off sooner or later cause I am running out of warehouse space and help is getting harder and harder to find.....no economic slowdown here...

Chief..thanks for the input. I agree that Permabears like Prechter are fools (rather obvious after the wild ride we had). I'm no permabear, I was a bull untill March (though not as aggressively as I could've been), and bailed when it was clear that EVERYONE I knew had become obsessed by the market. Overall, I agree that America has the greatest economic system and political system in the world (you don't see too many Floridians drowning while trying to escape to Haiti or Cuba, do ya?) I think we DO have some problems in the economy that need to be worked out, but it'll happen, and I'll try to be on the long side again when we roll. The energy stuff will be problematic for a while though....lots of new customers (over a billion in China), and they all want to fill 'er up....we'll tackle that one, but we gotta get MOVING on it, we've had since the 70's and not much has really been accomplished.
