Regis: Following is from "The new MAN Carrier-class Ethernet switches" article in your post 28647: <Using WDM, for example, Extreme substantially reduces the number of fiber pairs required to connect to POPs. It uses a 10G bit/sec WDM module to combine eight full-duplex Gigabit Ethernet channels onto a fiber pair, with each fiber carrying four channels of bidirectional traffic> no name credit given, but they are talking about LMNE's CWDM modules that Extreme is using. Looks like this trend might be good for several MRVC companies.
