Why do you waste your time repsonding to the no royalty posts

It's actually kinda encouraging. The more folks there are out there like that, the stronger the move up when they finally figure it out.

Hi Limtex,
>>There are some posters who turn up here whenever the Q begins to show its massive power and they seem to me to be a bit unhappy and post all sorts of nonsense about the Q. Q doing well really seems to upset some people, how odd!

You are right on that I think, But I do not find it odd; some of them are of course perverts and clowns and freaks, but most of them come around to the threads of the companies that have had a climb, trying to see if they can grate the stock price down a little. And they can be successful if there are a few of them around, kind of confirming each others' crap. They'll say things like "overpriced, flying pig, you're in denial" etc. you have heard them all this year I know. These boards are read by tens of thousands of potential investors small and big, every day. It is their entry that supports the stock price going upward. When they are reading this board, and they see a few of this sort of FUD messages, believe me many of them if not most, click away. It also scares away some of the weak holders. Then the stock may skid, then there is your confirmation, and go in with some bucks and keep shorting it.. You know the rest of the story.

Take one of them forf example, anyone.. warning you about this and that.. What benefit does he possibly have in saving your wallet from an imminent demise? Why should he care if not for his smelly motives?

WCDMA and Q´s long IPR battle.

Limtex, my good ole friend. Why indeed do we "waste our time" in discussing the unavoidable IPR rights of Q to WCDMA standard?

Its because if there are none, as I suspect, Q is dead as a dodo in three years time.

This sort of little detail gets easily mixed up with more important news such as the projected juicy deal with a WLL operator prospect in Hydrabad (prop. Suleiman ben Swipe).

The link that Kayaker gave was the same old conference call thingie everybody is reading like a proclamation of human rights. There should be no poverty. Conveniently money is not mentioned.

What I would like to see is a link to an official list of companies that have signed irreversible and unavoidable WCDMA IPR contracts with Q.

Also I would like to see some numbers. This is like the massive influx of attractive China deals we have been celebrating during the past two years - plenty of euphoria but where is the dough? Well nowhere, that´s bloody where.

Also I would like to debate why N, S, and A, the guys who actually produced the WCDMA standard have not signed.

They should sign, shouldn´t they? As they supposedly built into their own standard several lethal poison pills for themselves.

We can´t judge by E as they bought the Q infra. Before that deal they did not think they need any Q´s IPR.
