I have no idea what the eggs tasted like because I cut them into six bites each and swallowed them as whole as possible with the veggies. They look sort of hard boiled, but off color inside. They are duck eggs, BTW.

Now the oysters were tasty, I'll say. I ate them at a spring barbecue after branding and castrating the calves. They varied, but were about the size of an average man's. They were breaded in a tasty batter. My friend had instructed his daughter to offer them hot on the platter asking, "gonads, anyone?"

Skip this part gentlemen, if you already have your legs crossed:

They had a sort of resistant membrane that you had to bite though to get to the tender flesh. It wasn't gristly, though. They were tender inside. I'd eat then again if they were offered.
