joe fabitz - First, congratulations on reaching critical mass using Brinkers advice for the long period you describe. Got to agree with you about the changed show content. Occasionally there's a gem or two, but mostly it's stuff I really don't care much about. Lots of people seem to feel that way. Some have posted speculation about specific reasons for the changed show content. Most, including myself, do not know Brinker or the people who post such speculation. People are free to believe or disbelieve those reasons for the change in the program. If they believe those reasons are true, they are free to agree or disagree with them for whatever own personal reasons they choose. Obviously, I have expressed disappointment that radio host's wishes to refrain from reselling content summaries of his work would not be granted by those with the power to do so. In Brinker's shoes, I would have made the same decision to end the program. At his age when you have been as generous as he has been since 1981, life is too short to put up with uninvited people bent on criticism swarming about you, parcing every word you say and publish - attacking you for whatever the reason. Who cares what the rationalization and justification is, THE EFFECT of it all will be felt starting after December 17. So best of luck to you those who share your views. It will be a new age, but the change in show content has gradually given us a preview of how it will be - void of useful content. That's what happens when the goose that lays the golden egg is killed. P
