You probably know Beam was acquired this summer. EYE is the NYSE symbol for VISX. Icahn wants the company to sell or merge with a larger company (maybe Johnson and Johnson). Icahn is in at higher prices than the stock is trading at. Earning growth is way off after the royalty fee was slashed back in Feb. They have a new tracker laser coming on line but it appears laser machine sales are slowing down (they will not provide as much detail as to revenue mix as in the past). Thus, not sure if revenue will start to ramp back up as estimated for next year.

Closed out my CIEN puts this am for a 50-60% profit.
For an overnight trade I will take it.
Earnings were better than expected, too bad or it would have gotten creamed.

Michael, If you had looked into Eye, you could have said this:

I eye Eye? Aye!

<g -- and not even Friday net!>
