Well, being added to the Nasdaq 100 (NDX and QQQ) is all well and good, if those indices hold 2523 through the end of the year and into the first quarter. Institutions that trade in the 100 will be forced to buy shares.
But Greenspan taking his foot off the brakes isn't enough. He needs to start applying easy pressure on the economic accelerator as well...

But hopefully we've seen the low for the year, and now we're currently seeing a partial retest and backing and filling of the gains earlier this week.

And we need to see the Nasdaq close out the year above 3000 or so (in order to avoid closing out the year lower than the October lows at 3026, October historically being the lowest point of the year). Failure to do so will make 2000 the first year since 1933 to close the year lower than the October lows.
