>>I hope some people tonight saw some of the AFL-CIO rally in Tallahassee on C-Span

Goons and their rent-a-mob.

>>Only the foolish will put bumper stickers on their cars.

More threats from a goon. Hopefully AFL-CIO corruption and will be prosecuted under an honest administration.

"Only the foolish will put bumper stickers on their cars"?
Sounds like a threat. Union "muscle" to the rescue! You're losing it, dude.

Re: "By having the Florida Legislature choose its own electors, we are sailing into uncharted waters."

Just following the law and all its proper options....kinda like Mr. Gore who already lost this coin flip election. Half the country disagrees with you. A significant portion of Gore voters have jumped off his wagon, believing he should concede- make that more than half of all voters- in all seriousness. The backlash you imagine could only come from the most rabid of Gore partisans, and then, only because leaders like Gore and Jackson(Gore says he and Jackson have been in close touch, talking often of late) encourage them. Al Gore is irresponsible...for instance, when saying Dems were turned away from opportunities to fix ballot applications in this election...this thread already knew such was not the case, when Gore spoke as though he knew it were true. He could have acknowledged. He could have said something accurate about these two cases, instead of presuming an allegation is fact and therefore not fair. But by his words he implied already debunked falsehoods- and the tales spin on and out of control.

One of the best things leaders of either party can do is to temper the emotions of their own rabid party members. You are right about high emotions overall...on both sides. Bush won...Gore fights and fights and fights and remains behind. How could the winner be expected to concede? Only the man who lost could cease stirring this pot, unless Bush had no backbone whatever.

I hear Jackson qualifying his strong words with the word "may," over and over again. But that qualification does little to dash the beliefs held by his followers that much, if not all, of the obviously frivolous charges and speculations, are fact. No reason for healthy doubt included, no sensibility. Just a junkyard of trash thrown against the wall, and a prayer that something sticks. It is sad.

<<If the Republicans are successful in stealing this election, the next four years will be very painful for America. Only the foolish will put bumper stickers on their cars. >>

Flap, do you really want to say this?
