That's good PR by McKay since the FL court fights won't be over by Dec 12 and therefore Bush's certified lead will stand no matter what any FL judge does to overturn the will of the people during that interim.

McKay was peddling the same line of tripe on the cable TV news shows tonight. Several people, including Ben Bradley of the Washington Post, opined that McKay was blowing smoke out of his rear end with that line.

I really do hope that the Florida Legislature selects its own electors. As James Carville said the other day on TV ... that would be the biggest gift the Republicans could give the Democrats short of Bush conceding.
