thanks for the link.

i think FTTH is in the future. that much i do not dispute.

i just bought a house and we have fiberoptics at the curb but not into the house. it's a new house in a new neighborhood.

i think broadband/telecom/wireless are all things that are huge and will keep growing. no one can or should dispute that. the question for me is who will be the winner.

anecdotally....went to disney with brother's family over thanksgiving. saw some 3-D entertainment that was fabulous. i can see that coming to the house. a football game in 3-D.....telecom with pictures in 3-D.....will take some bigger pipes to do that,,but it's coming. saw the 6th Day with arnold schwarzenegger....a futuristic movie. had a refrigerator that would order milk when it was out...etc....that stuff is coming. i believe it. who will be the main players? csco will be one...that's for sure. i can see msft reinventing themselves to be a big player in this as well.
