Bubby... <<well we will have no excuse for not getting on this time.>> Well, I've got good news and bad news. Which do you want first..? Bad news? O.K... Chances are slim we'll get another crack at this thing under 40. I was unfortunately missing several days of intraday data for the past 30 days, and when I merged the full data set this evening, it paints a slightly different but much more solid & reliable wave count.
Recapping off the 6/22 large degree wave 3 peak, a standard ABC wave 4 zig-zag correction ensued, with A of 4 finishing on 8/11's low, B of 4 ending on 8/22's high, and C of 4 ending on 11/30's low. Now from C of 4's beginning from the 8/22 peak, 1 of C ended on 9/11's low, 2 of C on 9/25's high, 3 of C on 10/31's low, 4 of C on 11/7's high, and 5 of C on 11/30's low.

As you've probably already surmised, the good news (if you're already long) is the huge wave 4 correction off the 6/22 peak is OVER, ending on the day of GTW's warning, the day the hope for a bright PC future died <g>. And to kick off the start of the Big Wave 5 rally, Rmbs popped the cork with a 45% rally in just under 4 full trading days. It is currently in a little wave 2 pullback, with 44 area 50% retracement territory, a common support for wave 2 retracements. We should see a Sharp zig-zag (5-3-5-)decline from today's $53 high, followed by a rush to new highs for this new born bull move.

Cycles suggest a significant low is due in tomorrow, so I'd be a buyer of tomorrow's lows on not only RMBS but any strong stock showing signs of a bottom. Stops could be set for a close below tomorrow's lows.

So this is your official "ALL ABOARD" call, and a warning to close hedges (covered calls), and for the shorts... Better go crash somebody else's party <g>. You've had 5+ months of fun here, but the gig's now up, and has been since 11/30, the day from which an Island Reversal proceeded.

Ridah

BTW he is talking about Rambus.. I also agree we get about a 50/75 point pullback today and then go higher I am going long at about 2669 on the Naz futures..We are at 2705 here now so it could be soon...

JXM:

Air Conditioning (skipping theads)

I have plenty of nice cool air right outside my window. The AC's been off for some time. In CT we still haven't had a really bad cold snap. Just one or two cold days and then back to normal (normal this time of year is the high reaching the low 40 area).

The lake areas are back to a normal (plenty of lake effect snow). My sister lives outside Cleveland and while she's had a couple of storms she has had worse falls.

This year seems colder than normal only because the last two have been warmer than normal. I would think one really bad cold snap, 3 to 5 days with the wind chill in single digits, and ng will really go bonkers.

Notice the strength in RMBS lately?
