Tinkershaw to the rescue. Months ago tinkershaw I intuitively came to the exact same conclusion regarding Avanex, and used the same example of QCOM. This is so amazing that in this critical time, we should be on the same wavelength. Must have something to do with the genetic coding in our shared ancestral Shaw genes.

Your on a roll tinkershaw, you keep telling like it is, to the brothers and sisters out there in the global internet land. Others out there must known something to, as Avanex traded, better than its peers yesterday.

By the way I was up at 3:44 also going through labor pains, as I tried to give birth to this Avanex story too. Also thanks for coming to the rescue and addressing the technology thing, better than I could, I really don't want to go to nerd land, and get lost, or buried in detail, I have no way of evaluating, without a different brain, and several degrees in advanced optical engineering.

With AVNX we can see the players moving to an all or mostly all optical network in which greater and greater efficiencies in fiber utilization, at better and better costs will be necessary.

hi tinker,
congrats on the cool post award.

do you have any idea where mvis' subsidiary lumera fits into this whole picture?
