**OT**

Did anyone see J. Cramer on Squawk Box this morning? His advice was laughable at best(as usual). He opined that people should look somewhere beside technology for investments, this after a 50% drop in the tech index, and after he was pimping the most insanely valued names at the top earlier this year. A 10 point drop in YHOO was ALWAYS a Strong Buy according to him then; but apparently a 200 point drop does not force him to render the same opinion now! I wonder how many people actually followed his advice and now have nothing to show for it.

BTW, one of the ones he mentioned taking a look at was The Cheesecake Factory. BTW2, it is at an all time high. Should anyone be surprised?

The more things(people) change, the more they stay the same.

J. Cramer is always good for a laugh, but never for serious investment advice.

Brian

I HAVE AS A LURKER RESPECTED YOUR ACUMEN' T/A knowlrdge ' and views on amat and the market generally for years....thus while i have thick shoulders and can handle your criticism of my alleged OT posts .....i respectfully submit that my posts were not OT for amat esp. in the short run.....................DON,T YOU FIND IT INTERESTING that Miami ballots are NOW being counted in Tallahassee over 550 miles from MIAMI(further then NEW YORK CITY from Montrteal) AND THAT AMAT has dipped afterhours....... all i am saying is extraneous factors other then T/A HAS BEEEN AFFECTING THIS MARKET ALL year.....i seem to remember a recent post of yours to the effect that we have to throw away the normal yardsticks we measure the mkt. by when the perception is panic mode......i am not a winner this year but at this moment i am glad i went to all cash at 3pm Friday and i did it because one of the 3 Courts in Fla.(the highest one) NOT ONLY HADN'T ruled but announced they would rule at 4pm when it's too late for me to sell.............all i am saying is that one never knows ahead of time what is OT
