To: sunshadow who wrote (103988 ) 12/7/2000 11:06:53 AM From: haqihana Respond to of 769667 David, I have admitted to intemperate language on occasion, when provoked, but I am not using provocation as an excuse. When angered I have a tendency to revert to language that was once common to my vocabulary but, even now is more tempered than it was before. <<Language questionable to society surely is an abomination to God...>> This is where we differ, and apparently will always differ. This is a sentence from the reaches of your human brain. Nothing is surely an abomination To God unless He has says so, and He does not say so anywhere in the Bible. You are another one that has chosen to usurp the power of God to support your own human agenda, and positions. The language of Jesus Christ was questionable to society in the days that He walked the Earth, and I am not crazy enough to have delusions of being nearly as Heavenly as He is. Think what you may, you are in no position to determine, or even threaten, my final destination, and the fact that you do, brings you into conflict with many of the precepts of Christianity. As just another human person, I now am questioning your dedication to Christ above your dedication to your own human beliefs. We shall see what we shall see. I do believe that one of the messages of the New Testament, is to mind ones' own business, and not going about damning him to hell, when you do not have the power to do so. In anger, I did the same thing. Are you angry?? Are you loving your neighbor?? Are you not judging your neighbor?? Are you not giving false witness?? Are you one without sin that you think you are righteous enough to cast the first stone?? You may be suffering from the ailment of false piety. ~H~
