just wanna give you an illustration of what i was trading...btw, I do not use a bunch of technical indicators, right or wrong don't care, but it certainly hasn't hurt me...yet.

to trade from the long side, i will choose a stock that appears to have strength...(maybe a mistake yesterday with adbe?)

sites.netscape.net
still learning to make these charts a little quicker!

you will see a bar that pierces the line at 2760 only to bounce above at 11:00....anyway the proceeding bar, continued ist thrust, but failed to carry the line above...

depending on the trader, some will wait for a retest failure to exit,,,others will rapid fire, take a quick hit and move to the next if any weakness is shown...

but the trendline clearly shows the direction and trading the trend is the appropriate course or the deferred choice. Failure at ceertain levels will trigger the shorts...for me it would have happened about the time i'm typing this crossing below 2760 and retest for confirm...if no confirm and contiunes to move forward, i then wait to see if 2760 will hold on confirm. 2760 appears to be solidifying its position.

othrwise might be headfake city...all of this may sound confusing as heck, but after awhile it becomes second nature and seems to place the probability of success on my side.

this is for intraday purposes, and i place this for full view and for input from all.
