Hi Barry, I'll let some others who are dealing directly with Profunds answer your questions. The account I'm managing is held at Waterhouse, so their rules are different.

Best regards,
Tom

Hi Barry,

I've been in UOPIX and several other ProFunds for about 10 months now. I have been extremely pleased with the way ProFunds meets their objectives. I have been equally pleased with the way my account is administered. To answer one of your questions, the $15,000 minimum investment required by ProFunds is an aggregate value for the entire account. You may invest that $15,000 within the ProFunds family of funds any way you choose.

Regarding your AIM questions, you are asking the right guy in Tom Veale. I have found him to be a meticulous, market savvy individual with years and years of practical experience employing the AIM model. He has placed a great deal of information regarding AIM on the internet for all to see. (Check his initial post for the URL and other details.)

Bernie from Gunnison is also a good voice of reason regarding the finer points of Mr. Lichello's writings.

Others thread participants, including myself, have AIM aspirations but haven't surrendered completely to the concept for a variety of reasons. Maybe someday? :-)

Good luck with your UOPIX investment. It is THE place to be for the long term. Historical data supports this assertion completely.

Regards,

Hi Barry,
John's answer was completely correct. There are minimums which you can get from any ProFunds representative. It may be $1000 or $2500 for a minimum purchase in any of their funds. I'm not certain. You could leave the rest of your funds in their Money market fund if you so desired.
