If you have not read the "manual" there is a good FAQ linked off the thread header. "Newbies" are treated very politely, but are invited to read the "manual". It is a very productive thread. Excellent collective DD. I was not familiar with Tekelec. I just ran a Research Wizard on them: moneycentral.msn.com They look very interesting: "Tekelec can't answer your phone, but it can help you decide if you should. Its network switching systems, which account for 61% of sales, enable such enhanced services as caller ID and voice messaging, along with wireless services. Tekelec's newer switches handle both voice and data transmissions using emerging packet-switching technology. Customers include long-distance, local, and wireless telephone service providers and communications equipment makers." G&K thread has strong interest in areas I bolded above. Their all Qualcomm wingbats (like me). We typically evaluate companies with market caps of $10 billion +, but this is not hard and fast. $294.9 Mil annual sales is not shabby and we look at companies in this range with potential for growth. Take a shot. Post on one of my posts if you would like. I'll put TKLC on my watch list. << I'm confident in your knowledge of the SC industry, so I'm going to follow this one (GEMP). I caution you that I have not followed SC industry too closely last 4 months and I am still doing DD on G+. I suspect I'll take a small starter position. One of these days I WILL do a Project Hunt Report for G&K (perhaps not soon) but if I do I'll provide a link here. I MAY do one on GEMP as well if it seems to meet thread criteria. - Eric -
