Thanks Cos
I sometimes take my wheel and speak to kids. I tell them straight out if Jesus did not rise from the dead, don't waste your time with Christianity. Then I challenge them to examine the evidence for themselves, and make a commitment or not. A few jaws have dropped but that's the jist of what Paul said and I agree. I also ask them how do you know you are not in a cult. The answer can be found in Acts 17:11. By comparing what I, or anyone else for that matter says to what is in the bible. If the pope contradicts the bible, the pope is wrong. Paul goes so far as to say even if an angel appears to you and tries to tell you differently you should not listen to him. Joe Smith listened to just such an angel (or he claimed to) it does not matter, the result is the same. Having the wrong God may seem small to you but I would compare it to going to a drugstore for medication for a life threatening illness and saying just give me some pink pills, I don't care as long as they're pink. You might as well prepare your will because it's not the color, it's the content that matters.
Have a good day
Greg
