Hey Bosco

Actually it looks like the whole market is treading water awaiting the Florida Supreme Court decision. Even if they remand it back to Sauls court, it will drive the market..

Market is hungry for instant data. Everytime some PC company warns, CPQ can't come out in defence. MC already stated, the PC sales were 'robust'. He made it clear about the Euro/$$ impacts on the earnings in Q4. There may be slow-down in PC sales for some PC companies, but according to IDC this morning, PC sales are still growing at 20%.

The analysts have not analyzed Compaq's Q4 progress in the enterprise market. I have not seen any signals that the server markets sales are slowing in Q4.

The stock is down about 40% in less that 3 months, without any earning warnings or clear evidence of company's ability to effectively execute towards meeting the earnings.

I can tolereate un-informed, but it's hard to tolerate 'ignorence'.
