No, but there is a bus on the board.

My guess is that this was a case of it being possible to design DDR266 for the AMD760, but not practical. Especially when compared to ALi's chip, it seems clear that the bus drivers in the 760 left room for improvement. So they are being improved - which another way of saying they are being fixed and needed fixing.

Similar to the initial release of the coppermine, the purpose of the initial release of the 760 was to kneecap P4, and by those criteria the 760 has been a smash success.
