BB probably hit critical mass some time ago. I first noticed a change in his personality around the time he moved his personal rez to Florida ( 3-4 years ago?). At that time, he seemed to have become a lot more egotistical and also a bit of a revisionist when it came to his previous calls. I don't think the radio show or the newsletter has been about BB's income for a while but more for ego gratification.

BB was showing off with the first QQQ trade. He got a lot of subscribers PO'd at him by making the first QQQ trade available to non-subscribers at the same time as subscribers. The second QQQ trade, presented solely to subscribers has been a loser so far. I believe he started the QQQ thing wanting to be a hero and so far all he's done is catch a lot of flak.

Without the radio show, I don't know where he'd get new subscribers. He does advertise in Barron's ( and maybe elsewhere?) but I would bet most subscribers came from the radio. I imagine without new subscribers the newsletter would go into a death spiral.

Bill Shepherd - Agree that speculation goes back even as far as fall 1997, the year I signed on with SI.

I can remember someone sending me a PM warning me not to pursue the real identity of an SI poster believed to be Brinker. It was all a joke at the time. I was told it could be to the financial detriment of all of us if the person chose not to post SI anymore because of efforts to reveal his true identity. I quickly realized to back off in my own financial self interest.

So now the so called "bottomfeeder" refuses to back off for whatever principled reason he uses as a rationalization. And who cares whether or not one can prove a cause and effect relationship in court when the outcome is lack of substance and then silence on the radio. We all lose and that's the joke on us.
