So this guy is saying Don't be a fundamentalist Christian, no, instead you should be a fundamentalist like us! We're the real fundies. WWW. fundies are us I therefore call upon fundamentalists who read this essay to adopt that basic, fundamental prerequisite attitude for true learning and scholarship -- the humility to be able to admit that you are wrong. The Bible is not necessarily inerrant. It is not the exclusive, divine word of God, but rather is the product of more than five score writers, editors and translators, many quite unqualified for the work they were undertaking, many with conflicting objectives, each with a serious religious and/or political axe to grind. Will the real Slim fudie please stand up, please stand up. Notice it's not the humility to be able to admit you MAY be wrong. NOOOOOOOOOOO you must admit you ARE wrong. Wow! Such honesty is not seen very often. Lets see, if only you would admit we're right and your wrong then we would be right and you would be wrong.
