Reg FD will mean that good companies, will now surprise on the upside and bad companies will surprise on the downside.

Fortunately, all I follow are good companies.

Reg FD will mandate less volatility in any one particular stock, what ever is disclosed will of necessity be disclosed more incrementally, ie if bad news, THE PUBLIC will get it in small doses earlier. Rather than it being hidden at the broker, until they can dump their shares.
