I wonder how the London Lane Patrol would handle me... I walk very, very, fast. Problem is, often I overshoot where I'm going. When this happens, I do a 'U' turn and go the other way equally as fast. Frequently I change my mind and do two 'U' turns in one movement, and finish by continuing in the original direction. (I don't do this near mental hospitals -- just in case.) The Commander has a habit of talking while he's walking. Since he gets so wrapped up with what he's saying, he loses track of where I am. Sometimes, I pause for a moment. He continues. I get a bit of fun following him from a few paces back, observing people's reaction to this guy talking to himself. When he catches on to what happened, he's far less amused about it than I am. I once suggested he wear a headphone: It's OK to talk to yourself while wearing one. Cheers, PW.
