I'd like to think Bush is more intelligent than he actually is. But from what I've heard come out of his mouth is embarrassing. Yet, I'm reminded of a Jay Leno comment about the election. The host asked a young elementary student who she would vote for if the right was given to her. This was her response:

"I'd vote for Bush because you can always teach the stupid one(Bush) but the liar (Gore) will always lie."

Food for thought...

Hope springs eternal, but I put more stock in W delegating organizing his administration to Cheney. I think W might be ok by himself, but I don't think his handlers are going to be particularly conciliatory or bipartisan when push comes to shove. I'm sure the handlers will come up with plenty of nice slogans, though, like the uniter / divider / compassionate conservative / reformer with results lines. Giving W anything more complicated than that to say could be hazardous.

Cheers, Dan.

Oh, I forgot the att,. Generals office, so he held TWO jobs instead of one! Have you ever thought that someone outside the political beltway may make a better president then someone that has always lived off the tax payer such as Billy Clinton has! Go back and you will see that Billy has never earned a dollar in the private sector!

I like the folks that run for office that have had expirence in the REAL WORLD, for when they are elected he or she will have enough advisors telling him what to do and say!
