The republicans embrace this kind of message, but it is hard to follow that noble view if the leaders are crying racism and unfairness abounds, and it is those DAMN republicans who are doing it. I hate that good people like General Powell are not looked up to by the black community (not that he is the only good role model). Instead they too frequently look to Sharpton and gang with their hateful and divisive messages.

I doubt it if there is any anger among the white population in Europe! We are all white! Maybe that is all we have in common on this continent, the color of the skin and nothing else! I live in North of Italy, and here people don't look kindly upon Slavs in Serbia, Slovenia, Croats, etc. There are a lot of them here doing jobs nobody wants. The other day I read in daily paper that "Italy has its own blacks, but they are white!" So, there is no racial problem, there is the cultural problem! What we have in the United States, is cultural and racial problem. Maybe people don't want to admit, but not too deep beneath the surface, the country is very divided!
