If the Legislature steps in with their own set of Electors, they would trump any circuit court, no? According to the Constitution, it is the Legislature not a judge, who may or may not be impartial, who assigns Electors. I believe that is where we are headed should either the Seminole or Martin County cases throw out absentee ballots.

Gore's final hope is for ballots to be thrown out, when in fact he has been proclaiming "count every vote" ad nauseum for the past 4 weeks.
