Hi Mark, Most of the scans that were so good last fall and earlier this year are non productive at present. Many include a component or two of trending in the stock and that isn't happening to too many just now. I've one that searches for long term trenders that I rarely ran except to use as a prescreen because it produced too many hits (>1000) - tonite it gave me a list of less than 50. I'm dusting off some of Cooper's strategies and a few other pattern based scans and will try to back test them this weekend with data from the past 2 months or so to see if I can find something that works better. Any suggestions appreciated and I'll do the coding and report back. Hope Jeanne, your daughter and you are all doing well. Gold does look to be ready to have a bit of a run, but whether it can get to $300 is still in the sealed envelope. Peace and Justice --- Patrick
