Ed,

You only forgot to add that guy who was constantly yelling 'GET THE BAG NORTON'... <ggg> Perhaps it's now 'GET THE BARF BAG'..... Is there still a Dell train? On what weed choked siding is it residing? I may have seen it when visiting the Steamtown National Historic site in Scranton PA this past fall. Hey, I love hyperPE (tm) stocks! They have proven to me that:

1) It's different this time
2) Tech is now so important to the economy that
'cycles are passe'.
3) "It's growing at 75%, that sure justifies a
PE of 1000.
4) China is gonna be the big one
5) It won't be long till every Yak herder in the Mongolian
desert sits in his Gurt and tracks his herd on an
Inspiron with GPS software.

Hey, perhaps the Chinese leadership should promise each worker at the Three Gorges dam a new Dimension if the thing gets built on time.

edamo. i was warned Dell could see $32 when it was trading in the mid $40s. i was warned Dell could see $26 when it was trading in the high $30s. when it hit $26 we warned of $21 (on this board no less)

those who received private mail can so attest (from this board - advised getting clean at $34 - frankly, too many pricks trading this company)

despite my outward support of Dell the company, anyone is capable of disassociating a good company from its stock price. wallstreet is especially so capable and crooked

it is also currently believed that anything below $18 is oversold

making light of my "hope" or the "hope" of others relative to the current price can represent a curse

you were quite right regarding the street's perception of Dell the stock. but, Dell the stock remains dissassociated with Dell the company. when do the two meet?

$17 is now the price. the question is what to do NOW based on future expectations.
