I thank you for that thoughtful comment. As you may not know, I favored manually recounting the votes in Miami-Dade, as long as only hanging chads and torn chads were counted, and chads with clear stylus marks that demonstrated that the voter tried to punch through but could not. But I do not think that dimpled chads should be counted, and I don't think that a partial recount of only majority black precincts that voted 90 % for Gore is legal or fair. My son wants to know why Gore doesn't think that pregnant women are carrying children, but pregnant chads are votes.
