Paul, AH is a joke right now.....no way stocks are going down on Intel's (unemployment report and election saga is the key tomorrow)...this warning was priced in days ago...anyone looking at Intel stock price the past week would know that...

In September, the market had a nice turnaround day, the day AFTER Intel warned...

A few days ago, chips went UP when a couple biggies warned...today, NSM warned, and a lot of chips went up....Motorola warned, and stock finished flat here.....this all leads me to think we have turned the corner of the "shock effect" on bad earnings this quarter (unless some real biggie: EMC, SUNW, etc warn)......or unless stocks come out and significantly lower 2Q now (with these warnings)....

I don't see this being any big shakes...if anything, everyone will be happy its out there and over (like the election)..

Not exactly a major surprise. Lots of signals in the last two weeks. XLNX, LSI, NSM, MOT all have warned without a great deal of subsequent declines - is it already in the price???

4.1%, .2 on the wages (on the unemployment) would be huge tomorrow..(for longs)...I hope seasonal Christmas employee hiring doesn't "mess" the number up..

not as bad as rumored "the worst Q in decade", so i don't see too much downside.
tomorrow we may have a release rally if all the court ruling will lead to Gore concede.
