Mark, that is a really silly accusation unless you think the company isn't planning to be around next year to have to overcome the glut. Where I come from, shipping lots of product at the end of the season when you know it's going to sit around until the next year would qualify as channel stuffing. At the very least, if this is what happened, it would mean that they were dumping excess inventory on their customers. Let's just say that this is not the optimal way to manage the distribution channel. If you don't have a dog in this fight, why fight at all? I don't think of it as a fight, and because cheerleading and boosterism disguised as analysis bother me. I've seen too many people damaged by being blind to the other side of the issues when investing. When this tendency is coupled with a penchant for investing in unproven companies, the results can be disastrous. If you are going to speculate, that's fine, but don't pass it off as investing. And until GUMM has proven, profitable products, it is a speculation. A more selfish motive is that I haven't precluded a future short of this company, so I continue to follow the debate here to keep abreast of developments. When I feel I have something useful to say, I contribute. I guess I missed the TOU item that says you have to have a stake in a company before participating in the discussion.
