Duane, it ain't working....I did not do what you think. QCharts was not running when I edited the file. I saved and tried to start QCharts, it still won't work. I even check the properties on the icon to insure it's going to the same directory I made the changes. I've even rebooted the machine to insure it's not using a memory cache version (just in case).

I rebooted...made the changes...started QCharts it went to chicago....(waiting for awhile)...then went to herndon. It never even went to Boston. I then checked the file and the boston entry is gone. Somehow it's changing it before it even starts. Maybe you should try it or try to come up with another resolution.
Thanks,
John
PS....I'm not a hack....I'm a programmer for my living). Also I tried this at least 6 different times from all the different directories....it's still the same.

All of the instructions consumed by megert failed to solve the problem here. What do you suggest next?

I love the charts but the service feeds stink

Yes, and it's been REAL stinky for MONTHS now....

In the real time trading room I frequent you hear groans and posts (SEVERAL TIMES PER DAY) re. Qcharts from all over US and Canada at the exact same time... Usually at the open, a very costly time to have blank charts and slow feed. Everyday we verbally check quotes for comparison, and they are usually all different!?!

We can't depend on the charts, often cannot even get new ones up or change the time frame without losing everything, and NOW are finding the supposed REAL TIME QUOTES are not real time most of the time.

I realize you guys feel you have no competition, and seem totally incapable if correcting these CHRONIC, DAILY problems but you are losing your clients! Do you CARE?

Boston1 was horrible ALL DAY LONG, yet that is the only server you seem to be directing people to. Frankly, Sunnvale servers (Except 01) Were the only SEMI-working charts today. And if you send everyone to ONE server, we ALL know what happens - no one gets good service.

By the way, they work great late at night when hardly anyone is using them. My access speed is the same as it was this morning...so it's obvious your system is unable to handle your amount of live subscribers. You are selling us a service you are not providing, making plenty of bucks from us too.

So please spend some of those and upgrade, and stop taking on new subscribers until you can handle the ones you have. A system that is incinsistent is pretty useless to us all.

Susan

A thoroughly disgusted customer who has stopped recommending your product...and I brought you MANY new subscribers in the past. Your loss guys.
