If he does, should the entire country trust his judgement in divining someone's actions? What if someone changed their mind after starting to punch a chad? They left the booth with the chad still in place, thinking they did the right thing. But when someone got a hold of their ballot during a manual recount, they punched the chad out, completely disenfranchising someones vote.

Bottom line, manual counting is extremely subjective.

Machines show no favoritism.

That's my only problem with your argument.
