Ellen, if Gore was entitled to those recounts, under law, he would have gotten them. The fact is that he screwed himself by being such a whiner in the protest period. He was so concerned with public perception of Bush being legally declared the certified winner of Florida, that he allowed his legal argument take a back seat to his political argument. Gore has no one to blame but Gore (and Boies).

It's not my fault his lawyers out-lawyered themselves. Perhaps if Al had only finished law school.
