PT, <I just upgraded from a 233MMX to a Duron 600@927 and the internet is a lot nicer. Also the new hard drive and faster memory make applications/files load "instantly." Of course, I have a high-speed internet connection and the old machine was not able to keep up.> Just curious, did your machine have any L2 cache? How much main memory did you have? The reason I say that is because a Pentium should be able to handle a DSL or cable connection (given that even 486s were able to handle 10Mbps Ethernet). Chuck
