Well you predicated your original statement on the fact that you would rather have a "lying intelligent" President representing you than a person of lesser intelligence.

So I specifically made my comments outside of realm of politics in order to remove the acrimony that comes with partisan influences.

So now you are saying that your candidate is not the prevaricator that I thought you had originally stipulated.

So it would appear the my argument with you was all for naught.

:-)

Never mind!!!

And when all is said and done, I'd rather have an intelligent President who is working towards goals that I want rather than a stupid mumbling one who isn't.

That's an understandable position. But how much a part is intelligence? Maybe this should be viewed from the opposite end of the political spectrum. What if the intelligent president was Newt Gingrich, working against your goals, and the dumb one was Patrick Kennedy working towards your goals? Would you opt for the smart one or the dumb one?
