Pravin:

"If AMD and Intel both have their Q1 CCs on 1/16, I would guess that most of the Analysts skip AMD's CC and participate in Intel's. Just a thought."

On the contrary, particularly if the pictures paint the portraits that I see behind the existing veil...that of 2 companies in the same industries but travelling in opposite directions...Comparisons will be hard to avoid, particularly if starkly contrasting in any way, given the same day release and the common industry environment!!! I'm guessing that any significant contrasts will translate into price realignment between INTC and AMD on January 17...

Pravin,

<I would guess that most of the Analysts skip AMD's CC and participate in Intel's>

There will probably be about 30-60 minutes lag between the calls (AMD starting later) so if anyone really wants to listen, they will.

Pravin,

If AMD and Intel both have their Q1 CCs on 1/16, I would guess that most of the Analysts skip AMD's CC and participate in Intel's. Just a thought.

They can schedule the CC in different hours.
