In your "heart of hearts" you must know that it is hard to steal something you already have. The Rams, for instance did not "steal" the super bowl last year. If the Titans went to court to say they just needed ten more seconds they would have been trying to steal it. In that hypothetical case, just like the real presidential case before us, they would be rejected by the courts. There still would be people that feel that the Rams stole it based on your logic, though.
