the investigations started with whitewater. it was an effort in uncover something to be used for impeachment. that didn't work. so when allegations of an affair surfaced, a great deal of money was spent to catch clinton in a lie. it worked. so would you support bush's impeachment, if he can be shown to have perjured himself regarding his DUI? that may not be hard to do. whitewater was many years prior to clinton's time in office as well.
