Which is how the presidency should be run. After all the most successful Democratic president, FDR, was thought of as dumb and intellectually sub-par by his contemporaries. Hitler and Churchill sure knew a lot about how to design a tank and made no qualms about micromanaging, much to the detriment of their people.

By the way, GW might be surrounding himself with smart people, but nobody likes to be shown up at their own party. Remember his father- he picked Quayle as his right hand man. Talk about intelligent people...
