Nah. The post election "hand recounts" will still be subjective and standardless and therefore, of little consequence. JLA The post election hand recounts won't be under time and political pressure. I'd be very surprised if some professor couldn't figure out a strict set of standards and controls for the count. It should be possible to count the punch cards without the counters knowing which hole is for which candidate. Manual recounts are not rocket science. They just require a systematic and consistent methodology.
