Well, actually IMHO liberals do often have the moral upphand. Ultimately, decades from now people will have a lot more freedom and rights than we have now just like we enjoy now that people of years ago did not have. There is however the issue of sustainability with the current productivity level. In a way, not unlike the high tech dreams and tears. Ultimately the indices are going to be a lot higher, but that doesn't mean we should buy into it price no objective.

BTW, I'm not a Republican, so no need for Bushism. If there were no 22nd Amendment, I would probably vote for Bill. However, there is something about Gore that is unerving to conservative and liberal alike; didn't he build his political career on anti-choice and pro-tobacco? Now he panders to he big labor in order to brush up on his liberal credentials. In other words, the worst of both worlds. The Naderite liberals are too smart to buy into him.
