VIENNA, VA --(BUSINESS WIRE)-[12/7/00]--Penn-Akron Corporation (NASDAQ OTC.BB “PNAC”) announced today that its application for a name change has been approved. The corporation’s new name is HEROES, Inc. The effective date for this change is December 7th 2000. In addition, a new ticker symbol has been obtained and will be effective the same date. The new symbol is: NASDAQ OTC.BB “HERS”) “This change is part of an ongoing strategic plan to re-align the corporation with its new business direction. The corporation’s name will compliment the new marketing and branding efforts we are undergoing and will provide additional corporate awareness,” says Amer A.
