FL Supremes are too partisan liberal activist to defer, I think. In fact, Sununu was on tv tonight and referred to them as liberal hacks. So much for detente. My guess is they'll do Cirque du Soleil-rivaling contortionist acts in order to rule for Gore. Seemed clear that at least four of them will, and that's all it takes. Of more concern, it seems there's too little time for the US Supremes to take the case, have it briefed, hear it, and rule before the 12th. Then it goes to the Florida legislature, who I hope has the cajones to do the right thing.

JW: Possible "blank"-In-The-Woodshed. The Fla Legislature has to get 2 more dems in the house and 3 in the Senate to speed things up should they proceed with obviation special session.
