Randy,

I know you sell your Mom's painting on-line. I am doing a different promotion tomorrow starting at 6 AM. My store in Erie is doing a promotion call "hot rocks" in conunction with a very succesful radio station in that market. See the next URL and my button on the right side for my site;

rocket101.com

By the way, you might want to listen to that station on-line. The promotion is announced about every fifteen minutes. It is also is a nice format for the younger crowed. Anyhow, we have five contestants that are going to try and melt a 300 pound block of ice each. The first one to have melted their block wins a 3/4th carat diamond from us, $500 from the station and a trip to Las Vegas. The contestants start at 6 AM and there is a drawing by & PM if no one has melted their block of ice. Each block of ice an a cubic zirconia embedded in the bottom and carved int he ice in phrases is "Hot Rocks by Rocket 101 and David Jewelers. The three major television networks will cover the promotion throughout the day.

This brings me to banner adds. I have found that banner adds work very well in my local market if one ovvers the browser a reason to click on the banner. In our case, it is the coupons that give them an extra discount in the stores and on-line. I used banners also on the larger local ISPs and had a 7% click through average.

Anyhow, the David Jewelrs web site at :http://www.davidjewelers.com
is now averaging 10 to 12 thousand page views per month.

See this URL:

Note the banner near the bottom. They want to have a button on my site to direct traffic to their site. I will only permit a button for them if they direct enough traffic to my site and with the amount of "junk" on their site, it is not happening.
